Racecourses are an exciting and incredibly complex business involving a wide range of income sources, including media rights, Levy grants and non-racing income from other functions, concerts and conferences. Many racecourses have hotels, golf courses, caravan parks, and health clubs.
Our work within the racecourse sector includes:
- Successfully negotiating the rent review at Warwick Racecourse, one of the country’s oldest, on behalf of the UK’s largest racecourse owner and operator, Jockey Club Racecourses,
- Undertaking many valuations for loan security purposes and as an expert witness, including a premier flat racecourse,
- Advising on other leisure businesses at racecourses including golf and hotels, and reviewing development potential.
